“City Academy Cooperation Protocol” was signed between Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality and Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University. In the signed protocol, it was stated that joint education-training and cultural cooperation activities were aimed.

The main objective of the protokol is the cooperation between Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality and KSU and they aim to act jointly in the workshops and training activities to be carried out within the "Kahramanmaraş City Academy" and in the publication works to be made at the end of these activities.

Thanks to the Kahramanmaraş City Academy program, it is aimed to add value to the city and increase the knowledge and experience of the participants with workshops in the fields of culture, art, history, literature, science and technique. Within the framework of this cooperation, with the approval of Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University Rectorate, in case of need, educators and trainers who are experts in their fields will be assigned to workshops under the titles of "Magazine Workshop", "Short Film Workshop", "Translation Workshop", "Thought Workshop", "Writing Workshop", "Diction", "Basic Concepts of Sociology", "History of History", "How to Read Classical Texts?", " Science History”, “Robotic Coding” and “Graphic Design”. In this context, it was informed that the administrative staff and project coordinators determined by Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality will act in cooperation with the faculty members assigned by Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University.
